Overview
Anyone who has tracked a modern Civic knows the stock pedal layout makes heel-toe downshifting
awkward at best. The accelerator sits too far from the driver and too far from the brake pedal to roll
your foot across both comfortably. The ACUITY Throttle Pedal Spacer — technically an accelerator pedal
relocation bracket — fixes that by moving the throttle pedal toward you and better aligning it with the brake.
It also lets you bring the pedals closer together laterally, which helps drivers with narrower feet.
The bracket is machined from aluminum and ships with Class 10.9 hardware and purple anodized aluminum washers.
Three pedal positions
The spacer offers three non-stock mounting positions, each with a slightly different feel. We recommend
trying each one to find what suits your driving best:
- Position A — moves the throttle pedal closest to the driver.
- Position B — slightly farther from the driver than A, and slightly closer to the brake pedal laterally.
- Position C — farthest from the driver (still much closer than stock), and closer to the brake pedal laterally, like B.
Left-hand drive vs. right-hand drive
This version is for left-hand-drive vehicles — cars with the steering wheel on the left side, as sold in
the USA and Canada. It does not fit right-hand-drive vehicles such as Japanese, UK or Australian market cars.
